Abstract: For more than a decade our private and public life has been advanced by the twin
Electro-Technical achievements: the instantaneous availability of practically unlimited energy and
free flow of information. They have immensely affected the range and scope of our activities.
As such various kinds of onsite power generation sources using fuel Cells, Biogas/Biomass, Wind
Turbines, Photovoltaic Cells etc. have been developed and extensively used to meet the world's
growing energy demand. A comparative study of these resources for onsite generation of power is
performed and presented.
